Review by hotel critic
During our recent family vacation in Cortona, we chose to stay at a charming boutique hotel owned by Sara and her family. Nestled in a beautifully renovated 14th-century palazzo, this hotel provided ample space for my family, with rooms that offered both traditional style and modern comforts, including air conditioning-a true blessing in the June heat. Each morning, we savored a delightful breakfast featuring Sara's mom's homemade Cornettos, a highlight of our trip. One morning, we shared stories about the local Palio event, held in nearby Siena, which sparked our curiosity about the urban horse racing tradition. The hotel's prime location within the medieval town made exploring local sights, food, and shops easy, and it genuinely felt like an extended family home. For families seeking that blend of comfort and culture, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
